Virgil Hawkins | Static
A teenager was given a gift and he eventually became one of the world's greatest heroes.

Virgil Hawkins is a 16 year old high school student with great grades and a sense of humor. One day he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and was exposed to a gas that would forever change his life. Virgil became Static with abilities that were electromagnetic in nature. The only people who know are his friend Richie Foley and, later, his Pops.

He fights gangs made of other metahumans with his pal Richie aka Gear. He's worked with the Justice League on a few occasions, as well as some of its members individually. He has traveled in time twice and has lost his powers once.

Virgil is 5'7", 140 lbs.
